They call it the 'Holiday Season', yet year after year, starting in November thru the beginning of January, people tend to gain (unnecessary) weight.  So let's be honest, this could be considered

'Weight Gain Season'. However, it doesn’t have to be.  You don't have to gain weight at this time of the year, do you? The key is your mindset.

If you approach the holidays with the mindset of, 'I deserve to indulge and I shouldn't have to exercise'; or if you are thinking, I can just start my 'healthy plan' again in January, then you will probably enter 2015 a few pounds heavier, a little less healthy, and with lower energy than ever before.

I continue to be baffled! How is it that you have TIME to go shopping, buy food, eat food, yet no TIME to exercise?  NOW is the time to focus and be sure to engage in consistent, challenging, and effective workouts. Don't use the holidays as an excuse to eat until the point of being uncomfortable - will you really miss that bloated feeling? Decide which treats to cut out this year and try to stick to your decision.
