Let's be honest - having any type of junk food once a day isn’t moderation. That’s a habit, maybe even your lifestyle.  People tell me, ‘I don’t want to go without having certain foods, I feel so deprived, so miserable,so without…’; so I say - try having something you really want to - "in moderation". They say, okay, and go ahead and eat ice cream once a week, eat a doughnut once a week, also fries once a week, etc.  Because each item is eaten only once a week, they fool themselves into thinking that this is "in moderation", I guess.

I believe in clean eating. For me, the 80/20 rule works. That means I try to eat clean and healthy 80% of the time. My motto is 'everything in moderation'.
