When you choose a plan that’s too strict and unrealistic, it is very difficult to stay motivated for long.  Instead, try to create a lifestyle change that you can follow today, tomorrow and next year.

 

To develop a healthy relationship with food, view it as nourishment, rather than restriction or reward.

"In the past I always equated weight gain with being "bad" and weight loss with being "good". It's amazing how we are still raising children by rewarding them with food for good behavior. " (8/10/18)
