Forget "exercise" and think "accomplishment." The word "exercise" is one of the things that makes it hard to do. The word itself tends to sound boring and repetitive. You may find it more motivating to think in terms of - "What do I want to accomplish each day". That could be any number of things, such as from lasting a minute longer than you did yesterday, or even lifting a bit more weight. Anything that gets your mind out of "Do I really want to do this?" mode and into "Let's see what I can do today" mode should work, even if you're just getting started.

Just try to make sure that your daily accomplishment goal is realistic for where you are in your fitness journey.
