You are on your healthy journey. Instead of focusing on what you used to be able to do, or on what you cannot do, positive thinking can go a long way.

For example: Check in with yourself on a regular basis, and celebrate your personal milestones. Can you walk for even a few minutes longer than you did when you first started? Do you feel less winded doing chores or running errands? Do you notice that your pants fit a little bit better? Are your legs getting stronger as you are taking the stairs instead of the elevator more and more each day?

 

These are things to be proud of. Every effort counts! Every movement helps.
